Most evaluations start virtually: a video visit where a surgical wound specialist looks at the wound, reviews its history, and tells you plainly whether more advanced care may help. No travel, no hospital, no obligation.
Your current doctor or wound nurse stays your doctor or wound nurse. We send them a clear note after every visit, and if a procedure ever is appropriate, it happens at our own ambulatory surgical center, with most patients home the same day when clinically appropriate.
Asking for an evaluation doesn’t mean choosing surgery. Not every wound needs surgery. Many evaluated wounds go back to regular wound care with a better plan.
